How it works

Simple process. No pressure. You know the fee before we drive.

  1. Call or textTell us what you're seeing — cracks, doors, an estimate you don't trust, or just worry. We'll decide if a survey makes sense and quote the visit.
  2. Floor plan before we arriveWe send simple instructions for a phone-based floor plan scan (CubiCasa or similar). You walk the house once; we import the plan so Distress and elevation work align on site.
  3. On-site visitFloor elevation survey of accessible floors, walkthrough, photos as needed, and a straight conversation — usually a few hours on site depending on size.
  4. Report & watch listContour map, plain-language summary, what to monitor, and questions for any repair contractors you invite later. Delivered quickly — often within days.
  5. Optional: resurvey in ~12 monthsIf we recommend monitoring, we can return and compare — movement documented, not guessed.

Already have paperwork?

Bring the other company's estimate, floor survey, or photos. Second-opinion reviews start from what you already paid for — we add independent measurement and context.

During repair (optional)

Some homeowners want an advocate on site while piers go in — not to direct the crew, but to ask questions, compare work to the bid, and keep paperwork straight. Ask us if that's appropriate for your job.
