What you get

A paid decision tool: documentation and an independent read before you commit to a high-cost repair — not a path to our pier contract (we don't sell one).

What you receive

For the fee, you walk away with:

  • Repeatable floor elevation survey of accessible living levels (slab-on-grade and main floors), typically with a Pro Level water manometer — widely accepted for its repeatability and preferred by many geotechnical firms
  • Topographic contour map showing high and low areas
  • On-site walkthrough — cracks, doors, drainage, context
  • Plain-language discussion of settlement vs heave patterns and what the numbers suggest for next steps
  • Written summary and 12-month watch list
  • Questions to ask foundation repair contractors when they come out

Monitor & resurvey (when it fits)

When the evidence supports watching instead of repairing now, monitoring is a defined product: a documented baseline, what to watch for, and an optional return visit to compare. It is not a consolation prize — it is the right tool when urgency is not supported.

Second opinion add-on

If you already have another company's floor survey, estimate, or engineer's letter, bring it. We'll read pier count, methods, and pricing against what we measure — line by line when it matters.

A floor survey from a repair company isn't wrong because of the instrument. The instrument can be fine; the visit still sits inside a repair business. You are paying for independence — so the interpretation is not tied to selling the next step.

What we don't do

  • Sell helical piers, push piers, foam, or any repair package
  • Offer "free" inspections that convert to a sales visit
  • Provide stamped Arizona engineering reports (we'll tell you when you need a PE)
  • Direct means and methods during someone else's repair (we can advise you and ask questions)
  • Crawl every crawlspace — limited crawlspace work by design; slabs and accessible floors are our focus

Typical investment

Independent floor-level surveys in northern and central Arizona typically run$1,000–$1,250 depending on size and travel. You'll know the fee before we schedule. No surprise upsells.
